The Vashon Homes interactive map is a Google application that allows Vashon Homes to display current MLS listings, John L Scott offices, and landmarks of interest on Vashon Island.

The map comes with a number of interactive controls - zoom, orientation, mouse overs, and map views.

Zoom
To Zoom in or out you can use the plus/minus scale found on the left side of the map - or double click on the area of interest on the map to zoom directly to that region.

Orientation
To change your orientation you can use the left/right or up/down arrows found in the top left of the map or you can simply click on the map - while holding down the mouse button you can then drag the map left/right or up/down to change your orientation.

Mouse Overs
Each point of interest (listings, offices, or landmarks) are highlighted with unique pushpins. To view information about a given point of interest simply move your mouse over the pushpin and a small window will appear with information about the location.

Map Views
Google Maps provide various ways of viewing the landscape of the map. "Map" view simply shows a road map of the area being viewed. "Satellite" provides a satelite photo image of the area being viewed. "Hybrid" view allows for a road map overlaying a road map.

By default the Vashon Homes map opens in Map view.
